Here at Accelerated Ministries, Church of God of Prophecy, we believe that there are many ways to GLORIFY God through praise and worship. We have implemented our Fine Arts Ministry team, in order to provide individuals an opportunity to express their unashamed love for God. Our unique Ministry confirms that God calls his people in many ways to Preach and Proclaim HIS WORD!

The term Fine Arts is described as: creative art, especially visual art. This art requires and individual and/ or group to minister in front of an audience.

Mime Ministry
An individual and/or group who ministers through the use of body movements, using no words.
Faces painted in white, white gloves, and silent gestures offer a unique and powerful presentation of artistic ministry. The purpose of mime is to illustrate praise and worship through music and unspoken word; to impact all who see, and hear, by creating an atmosphere that will penetrate the hearts of believers and non-believers. **The Mime and Dance team is currently separated into two teams: Silent Expression and Destined to Worship. ***** |

The Hebrew tradition was full of dancing. It was something that was the ‘norm’ throughout the time of the Old Testament. It was truly a gift from Yahweh; “dance functioned as a medium of prayer and praise, as an expression of joy and reverence, and as a mediator between God and humanity. This understanding of dance permeated the faith of the early Christian church.” The children of Israel would hold religious festivals, celebrations for triumphant victories, weddings, and dance was an essential part of the celebrations of the ancient Israelites.
REQUIREMNETS FOR PARTICIPATION: Silent Expressions: - Must be 14 years or older. - Must show a certain level of maturity - Must display active participation at least 80% of the time. Destined to Worship: - Must be 4 years or older - Must be accompanied by a guardian or approved adult for the first 4 weeks of practice. - Must display active participation at least 80% of the time. |

Drama MinistryThe Drama ministry was formed to provide a visual means for people to understand the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our aim is to demonstrate the Word of God as it applies to our everyday living and in our spiritual walk with Him. It is intended for both entertainment and teaching /preaching as in the case of illustrated skits.
REQUIREMENTS OF PARTICIPATION: -Must have some affiliation with the church. -Must go through tryouts. -Must display active participation at least 80% of the time. -Must be able to get along with a group of people. |
